About Ogov
Accessibility
The standard Ogov builds to, and what is not done yet.
AdoptedUpdated
Ogov targets WCAG 2.2 AA. Every learning task must be completable by keyboard and with a screen reader, with visible focus, adequate contrast, captions and transcripts, clear labels and error recovery, respect for reduced-motion settings, and no timed assessment without accommodation.
Where the site stands today
- Every colour pairing in use meets AA contrast, verified by measurement rather than by eye
- Keyboard focus is visible on every control, including on dark sections
- Pages carry a skip link, semantic headings and labelled form controls
- Content is readable before JavaScript loads, and animation respects reduced-motion preferences
- Not yet done: captions and transcripts (no audio or video exists yet), right-to-left layout, and independent audit
