About Ogov
Political neutrality
Nonpartisan, but not empty: what Ogov does take a position on.
AdoptedUpdated
Ogov is independent of every party, serving and former government, donor and commercial sponsor. Neutrality does not mean moral emptiness.
Commitments Ogov does make
- Constitutional government and the rule of law
- Human and peoples' rights
- Lawful, peaceful transfers of power
- Non-discrimination and equal citizenship
- Accountable institutions and political pluralism
- Evidence-based public service
Party affiliation is treated as restricted data. It is never displayed publicly by default, never exported in analytics, and never shown to an institution that sponsors a learner.
A credential from Ogov is never an endorsement. Every credential states that it confirms only that the holder met the stated learning and assessment requirements, and does not certify their integrity, conduct or performance in public office.
