About Ogov

Editorial independence

Who decides what Ogov publishes, and who cannot.

AdoptedUpdated

No funder, government, party, sponsor or partner has any unpublished right to remove a case, suppress criticism, select a conclusion, or see learner data. Where a sponsor funds a programme, the sponsorship is named on the material it paid for.

How a decision is made

Publishable material passes commissioning with a conflict check, evidence review, African context and inclusion review, political balance and rights review, learning design review, and legal review, before a publisher releases it with a version and a review date.

No single person may author, evidence-review and publish the same high-risk political case. This separation is enforced by the platform, not only by policy.

The curriculum council and credential council that will own these decisions are being formed. Until they are appointed and published here, material is reviewed by named contributors and clearly marked with its review status.
