Credential council

The independent body that sets and defends the assessment standard.

DraftUpdated

The credential council sets what each credential requires and the standard for passing. It is deliberately separate from the people who assess learners and from the issuer who signs awards, so that nobody defines, marks and issues the same credential.

Membership is intended to include respected African academics, former public servants, judges, diplomats, development practitioners and civil-society leaders, balanced across regions and political traditions.

The council is being formed and no credentials have been issued. Write to hello@ogov.africa.
